Any Desk In The Office
|
 |
If you need to use someone
else’s desk, you can log into
Amicus from any PC in your
firm and have it behave as
if you are at your own desk.
So you’re not tied to any
machine. Great for working
from a boardroom, for people
with two offices, or those
who share desks.

If you use a notebook, simply
disconnect from the network
and all your practice information
goes with you. While running
Offline, you can do almost
anything you could have done
at the office, including working
with the documents you selected
to take with you. When you
return to the office and reconnect,
any changes you made will
be synchronized with changes
made by others in your firm.
With Amicus Attorney 2008
Premium Edition you can even
synchronize while away from
the office across the Internet
(depending on network setup).

For
remotely accessing your practice
management information, you
can install the Secondary

laptop or any other computer
you use occasionally. Pack
you Amicus "briefcase" at
your Primary Office, and then
unpack it at the Secondary
Office. After working at the
Secondary Office, you can
pack your briefcase there,
transport it back to the Primary
Office, and unpack it. This
synchronizes the team database
with the work you did at the
